Comics, My early years of collecting.

X-Men 191 is is one of the first Uncanny X-Men books I ever bought. I was collecting a lot of Marvel books but didn't really get into X-Men, at the time too many words LOL, but I recall picking this up at a corner newspaper store mainly because I had already got all the other comics in that store!

Yet, I wanted MORE books... Plus Spidey was on the cover of this and in the story. Spidey was the comic I love to get and when he appeared in other books I had to get those too.

I picked up this X-Men book and then the flood gates were open and I was a Marvel Zombie! Got just about ALL of their titles at the time, still wanted more so I got in to DC, and those few others that came out back then like the .50 cent Eclipse books. Funny what memories an image can trigger.
